Mountbatten House, originally built in the 1970s and known as the ‘Hanging Gardens of Basingstoke’. The six-storey building features rooftop landscaped gardens designed to enhance biodiversity, setting a new standard for sustainable office environments. SPR is proud to have won the Eco-Active award for working on this project. This Award is for the exceptional environmental sustainability, through the use of innovative and eco-friendly materials and technology.
BEN AINSLIE RACING HQ
The Ben Ainslie Racing HQ in Portsmouth is a striking example of sustainable, multi-use maritime architecture and innovation. It's conceived as a flagship facility supporting Britain’s America’s Cup ambitions and local engagement via the 1851 Trust. An 8-week project covering 100 m² with the BMI Profiles XL System, including a Mansafe and lightning conductor system, backed by a 25-year guarantee.
AIRBUS PORTSMOUTH
Airbus Defence and Space in Portsmouth is a leading hub for satellite payload design, assembly, and testing, supporting both civilian and military space projects. We were honoured to carry out flat roofing and liquid waterproofing works at the site, contributing to the protection and longevity of this world-class facility. A 9-month flat roofing and liquid coating project using Profiles XL Firesmart, supported by a 20-year guarantee.
